OKC Russell Westbrook - Celtics Marcus Smart |
All-Star Russell Westbrook was defended by guard Marcus Smart as he forced Westbrook into a rough outing shooting the rock, only connection on just 5-20 from the field, with the majority of his 27 points coming at the charity stripe (15-of-17).
Beside Westbrook's rough shooting night, he still was showing why he is an All-Star with a few highlights. One coming early in the game as he dropped Celtics guard Isiah Thomas like a bad habit. The other came on the defensive end, as he pinned Smart's layup attempt off the backboard.
Yea. Russell Westbrook really DROPPED Isaiah Thomas on his way to the big dunk!

Smart was not going to accept that as he already was having a great night guarding Westbrook, as he showed his own blocking attributes, chasing down Thunder guard D.J. Augustin.
Russell Westbrook also had some loving words for Smart and his performance in a post game interview!
Despite Westbrook's words for Smart he had impressive numbers.
Marcus Smart put on a show against Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook wasn’t impressed.
