Anthony Davis is expected to play and start vs Jazz
The New Orleans Pelicans may be without their two-time All-Star Anthony Davis against the Utah Jazz Saturday night.
Davis was carried into the locker room by two teammates after colliding knees with Clippers' point guard Chris Paul in the third quarter of Friday night's loss.
The Pelicans said he suffered a right knee contusion. The Medical staff checked with Davis and did not feel the need to schedule additional testing. The Pelicans have listed Davis as "probable" for Saturday night's game in Utah.
After successfully reaching the playoffs last season, the Pelicans are of to a rough start, beginning the season with a 4-12 record. The Pelicans have been injury magnets this whole season, with at least 1 starter not in the lineup of ever game so far.
