UPDATE: Kevin Durant will miss the next 7-10 days after MRI confirms left hamstring strain.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant sustained a strained left hamstring injury on Tuesdays game against the Washington Wizards.

Durant came up grimacing when he landed awkwardly after a mid-air collision with Wizards forward Kris Humphries on a drive to the basket. He originally stayed in the game but Durant did not return for the second half. He will undergo an MRI Wednesday to determine his timetable for return.

The play is shown below.
"After that foul I came down a little awkward and landed on it a little harder than I wanted to and it pulled,"

"It's unfortunate but it's a part of the game," Durant added. "Can't hang my head, just got to work to get back. I've been here before. It's just a small injury, but I've been here before. I ain't going quit, I'm not going to give up, I'm not going to be upset, it's just a part of the game."

Durant finished the first half with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
