Players of the Week - Monday, November 16 through Sunday, November 22

The Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James were awarded today as the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, for games played during Monday, November 16 through Sunday, November 22.

Curry fueled the Warriors to a 4-0 week as he continued his great start the the season averaging 30.8 points (second in the NBA), 6.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals (third in the NBA). Curry shot 50.6 percent from the field and 96.0 percent from the charity stripe, and connected on a league high 17 three-point field goals (Has more 3 pointers made than two NBA teams). During the Warriors' 124-117 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on November 19, he accounted for 40 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals. The Warriors will look to become the first team in NBA history to open a season 16-0 when they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, November 24th at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT.

Stephen Curry's Full Stats During the Week:

Nov. 17 vs. Toronto: Connected on five 3-pointers en route to 37 points and added nine assists in a 115-110 win over the Raptors.

Nov. 19 @ L.A. Clippers: Scored 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds during a 124-117 win over the Clippers.

Nov. 20 vs. Chicago: Posted 27 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 106-94 win over the Bulls.

Nov. 22 @ Denver: Tallied 19 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals during a 118-105 win over the Nuggets.

James was also a forced to be reckoned with in the East, as he led his Cavaliers to a 2-1 week, which included wins over the Milwaukee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 25.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists. LeBron shot 57.1 percent from the field, 60.0 percent from behind the arc, and 87.5 percent from the foul line. During the Cavaliers' 115-100 win over the Bucks on November 19, James' versatility and efficiency were on display as he scored 27 points (9-of-13 field goals) and added nine rebounds and six assists.

Nov. 17 @ Detroit: Scored 30 points and added six rebounds and three assists during a 104-99 loss to the Pistons.

Nov. 19 vs. Milwaukee: Posted 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a 115-100 win over the Bucks.

Nov. 21 vs. Atlanta: Posted 19 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists during a 109-97 win over the Hawks.

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Cleveland's Kevin Love, Indiana's Paul George and C.J. Miles, Memphis' Marc Gasol, New Orleans' Ryan Anderson, New York's Kristaps Porzingis, Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook, Philadelphia's Jahlil Okafor and Phoenix's Brandon Knight.
